GEGEN GEWALT AN FRAUEN UND M\u00c4DCHEN<\/h1>\n

Gewalt gegen Frauen und M\u00e4dchen ist eine t\u00e4gliche Realit\u00e4t, in \u00d6sterreich ebenso wie weltweit. <\/span>Das Risiko ist \u00fcberall hoch und kann jede betreffen \u2013 sowohl im \u00f6ffentlichen als auch im privaten Bereich<\/strong>. Gewalt hat viele Formen: physisch, psychisch, sexuell, \u00f6konomisch und strukturell. <\/span>Globale Herausforderungen wie Konflikte, Klima- und Ern\u00e4hrungskrisen, Flucht und Migration setzen Frauen und M\u00e4dchen einem gr\u00f6\u00dferen Risiko von Gewalt aus. Sie<\/span> erhalten in solch schwierigen Situationen oft nicht ausreichend Schutz und Unterst\u00fctzung. Die Auswirkungen auf die Betroffenen, deren Familien sowie die Gesellschaft sind gravierend. Jeder und jede von uns kann dazu beitragen, Gewalt gegen Frauen und M\u00e4dchen zu verhindern \u2013 individuell, politisch oder gesellschaftlich. <\/strong><\/span>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Die #16DAYS gegen geschlechtsspezifische Gewalt finden im Jahr 2022 zum 31. Mal vom 25. November<\/strong>, dem Internationalen Tag f\u00fcr die Beseitigung der Gewalt gegen Frauen, bis zum 10. Dezember<\/strong>, dem Internationalen Tag der Menschenrechte, statt.<\/p>\n

#STRONGERWITHCARE<\/h2>\n

Der Ausweg aus der Gewaltspirale kann ganz anders aussehen, als man es erwarten w\u00fcrde. Das will unsere diesj\u00e4hrige 16 Days Kampagne „Unterst\u00fctzung befl\u00fcgelt“<\/strong><\/span> aufzeigen und Unterst\u00fctzer:innen einladen mitzumachen. An f\u00fcnf Standorten in Wien<\/a> <\/strong>k\u00f6nnen sich Passant:innen w\u00e4hrend der 16 Days selbst Fl\u00fcgel verleihen<\/strong>. Ihre Unterst\u00fctzung gegen Gewalt an Frauen und M\u00e4dchen k\u00f6nnen sie mit Fotos und dem Hashtag #strongerwithcare<\/strong> <\/span>auf Instagram<\/span><\/a>, Facebook <\/span><\/a><\/strong>&<\/strong><\/span> Twitter<\/span><\/a><\/strong> teilen.

WAYREP<\/h1>\n

CARE hat sich bis 2030 zum Ziel gesetzt, die Gleichstellung von 50 Millionen Frauen und M\u00e4dchen<\/strong> voranzutreiben, ihre Rechte zu f\u00f6rdern und geschlechtsspezifische Gewalt zu bek\u00e4mpfen. Gewalt gegen Frauen und M\u00e4dchen ist auch ein gro\u00dfes Problem im Norden Ugandas. CARE \u00d6sterreich<\/strong> und die Austrian Development Agency (ADA)<\/a><\/strong> reagieren darauf mit Ma\u00dfnahmen, die Frauen st\u00e4rken und ihnen zu einem selbstbestimmten Leben in Sicherheit verhelfen sollen.<\/p>\n

Im Women and Youth Resilience Project (WAYREP) <\/strong>unterst\u00fctzen CARE <\/strong>und lokale Partner Frauen und M\u00e4dchen sowie junge M\u00e4nner in Fl\u00fcchtlingscamps und St\u00e4dten im Norden Ugandas. Gewalt gegen Frauen und M\u00e4dchen hat zwei Hauptursachen: Ungleichheit der Geschlechter und die Armut, die durch Vertreibung und Flucht versch\u00e4rft wird. Daher unterst\u00fctzt WAYREP Frauen und M\u00e4dchen dabei, ein besseres Einkommen zu erwirtschaften und schnelle sowie angemessene Hilfe zu erhalten, wenn sie Gewalt erfahren haben. Zugleich setzt sich das Projekt f\u00fcr mehr Geschlechtergerechtigkeit ein.<\/p>\n
